How many mistakes do we need to make up for one mistake? How much happiness do we need to trade for a certain kind of happiness? This film, A Departure from Love, tell a story that’s takes us back to the Kaohsiung Export Processing Zone in late 80s when Taiwan’s economy was taking off and shows us the tangled relationship between three people.
