彰化二林鎮太平路上一個小村落，名為相思寮。從清朝或日治時代起，居民 便世世代代居於此處，生根於此，安身立命。然而中部科學園區開發案卻迫使他們必須遷移土生土長的家園到他方。在樸實的鏡頭語言下，將引領我們觀看存留在這 片土地上的豐饒，以及即將被強加其上的暴力。將「國家霸權」與「居民生活」二元對立敘述仍待思索，然而其中的議題仍需值得省思。

There is a small village in Er-lin, Changhua called Hsiangsiliao. Because of the development of Central Taiwan Science Park, the villagers here are forced to leave their homeland and move to other places. This film, The "Missing" Village, portraits the anger of the people in Hsiangsiliao and disrespect what they are facing.
